Valentines Sour Cream Treat Holders

Hello my friends,    I hope everyone is having a great day.  We got more rain yesterday but mostly last night and seems like its gone today so that is good.  I was able to get my walk in last night and early this morning with my dogs, so that was good.   Today’s project is a treat holder filled with chocolate that each guest at my SAS this weekend will receive.

Sour Cream Container

Recipe and supplies:

Paper: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of sending love Specialty designer paper,  White (stamp friend heart stamp onto the white paper, using red or pink, then punch out the heart using the Heart punch)

Ink:  Pretty in Pink, Real Red

Stamp Set:  I hearts (occassions mini)

Accessories: Heart Punch, Pretty in Pink Ribbon5/8 Satin Ribbon,  Red Sticky Tape,  dimensionals

Take your 5/1/4 x 4 1/4 piece of paper and put red sticky tape on both sides of the 5 1/2 sides and only one side of the 4 1/4 side.   Take the 4 1/4 side and roll it up and tape the sides together.  Once done you pinch one side of the open ends and tape together.  The fill container with candy, then turn the paper to the right (hard to explain but you want a different angle to the contain) so it looks like the picture above and close with the tape.  Then take your paper crimper  and run the folded tops into the crimper to make the crimper makes (again hard to explain).   Then tie ribbon onto top of the container and add your friend heart by using the dimensionals to adhere to container.

The directions may be difficult to follow, so if you have any questions, feel free to email me at pcgaynor@roadrunner.com. Stop by again tomorrow to see the other goodies the girls will be getting as a thank you for coming.  I try to make 2 to 3 gifts for the girls to take home after my events.

Have a good day everyone.

Pam
