Stamping Afternoon with Senior Citizens
Hello my friends,
Yesterday my fellow SU demo’s Wanda and Evie met at a retirement facility and had 25 senior citizens there to make 5 different SU Cards. Of course most of our supplies are using our retired items, but we do this event every quarter for the seniors as our way of giving back to the community. Our other demo Judee could not make the event but always provides card to the event. In fact this time she made two sets of cards. The seniors love it and it makes us feel good about giving our time and sharing our love of stamping with them. My friend Wanda works at this facility so it works out great. About a year ago when we started this event we only had 15 seniors show up, now our nice group has grown to 25 and expanding. We love it and they enjoy their afternoon too. Attached are pictures of the seniors working on their cards.
