Test Tube Halloween Gift Card Holder

Good Morning my friends.  I am so excited as my sister Ruth arrived safely last night, we had a great dinner with our BFF’s and today we get to play and get ready for our stamping weekend away to Wynola, CA with my Rubba Sisters and BFF’s.    We went up to Big Bear last year and had a ball so decided that when my sis comes to visit (which is only once a year… boo hoo) that we would plan a weekend away with my BFF’s.  So this year we picked Wynola which is a small town just outside Julian.    There are 7 of us total and we are going to have so much fun.  So today we will get our projects ready (as we are having a shoebox swap, and I am also hosting a mini SAS and then my BFF’s Judee Peper and Gail Reed (check out her blog on my link) are also doing projects so will be a fun stamping weekend.  Can’t wait.

Today’s card is another Fall SAS Card the girls will be making at my Sept 24th and 25th SAS.   I got the idea for this card from Gretchen Barron at http://gretchenbarron.typepad.com/my_weblog/page/2/.  I bought the kit she offered (under her blog dated August 4th) and then took the idea and made this Halloween Gift Card.  Isn’t it the cutest.  Thanks Gretchen for the inspiration and always having great projects on her blog.

Stamp Set: Fang-tasic

Paper:  Pumpkin Pie, Black, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, White

Ink:  Black and various SU Markers

Accessories:  Big Shot Machine,  Spider Web Embossing Folder,  Ribbon Punch, corner rounder punch, 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 circle punches,  1/2″ Lace Trim Ribbon.  Glass Test Tubes I bought from a company on-line. I should have bought plastic ones instead.

What a different and fun card. I just love it and glad that Gretchen shared this cute card with everyone.    Have a great day.  I know I will because I will be spending it with my sis.  I am so lucky that not only is Ruth my sister but she is my best friend too.  Love you Ruth.
