Trusty Tools Fun Fold Card # 9 Feb SAS

Trusty Tools Bundle 162723. Love this bundle and all the fun cards you can make with this. I saw this card on another SU demo from Australia and made my own version with the American measurements. This was a tough card to figure out and took me a while but love the way it turned out. I made two versions as I was not sure which card would appeal to all my stampers, so they had the choice of which one to make. This card was the star of the Feb SAS.
Paper: Smokey Slate, Basic Black, Copper Clay, Basic White, Trusty Toolbox DSP Free 162978 with a $50.00 order during SAB thru Feb, old silver paper
Ink: Memento Black, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green
Stamping Blends: Smoky Slate Light and Dark,
Accessories: Tear and Tape
To Assemble the card –
Main Card tape either all the black cut pieces and Red & Smokey Slate DSP tape to the Smokey Slate card or for the Copper Clay Card tape all the DSP to these pieces onto both side of the main card. Then tape either the Black dotted piece or Copper Clay DSP onto the middle of the main card.
For the inside of the main card take the 4 x 1 piece that is scored on both ends – you will tape this piece inside the card about 2 inches from the bottom of the card (as this piece helps keep the middle of the card together) See pictures for this step at the end of this post.
Bottom of card – For the bottom part of the card (5 ¾ x 2) piece of Smokey Slate or Copper Clay – tape that black and DSP of the Measurement tape on this piece and top the 2 sides of this piece and tape onto the front bottom of the main card.
Take the white piece that is 2/38 x 3/38 and tape the silver cut out piece on top of this piece, then tape the bottom piece in the middle part where the that is scored in half and tape this piece onto the bottom piece as shown on picture # 3 above, Hard to explain it but hope the picture helps. To Fold up the card, you will need to lift up the Silver Bench piece up in order to fold the card.
For the Card Measurements see pictures and measurement at the end of the Tutorial
Cutting Instructions for the Tool Box Card. Sorry the pictures are not clear as I made so many changes. But typed up the instructions underneath each piece.

Picture above are all the measurements for all the pieces to make this Tool Box Card

The measurements for the main part of the card
Cut Smokey Slate or Copper Clay paper at 8 ¼ x 4 ¼, then score on one side at 1 3/16, 2 7/16 turn paper around and score the same measurements on the other side of the paper. For the Smokey Slate Main Tool Box part the Black Paper is cut at 1 1/16 x 2 1/2, and DSP 1 x 2 ½, and 1 x 4 on both sides of the main card. For the Copper Clay Card DSP is cut at 1 x 2 ½, and 1 x 4 on both sides. The DSP or Black Card stock for the middle of the card were cut at 3 x 3.
For the front piece of the card the Smokey Slate or Copper Clay card the card stock was cut at 2 x 5 ¾. Smokey Slate Card the Black piece was cut at 5 5/8 x 1 ¾ and DSP cut at 5 ½ x 1 ½. Copper Clay Card DSP was cut at 5 ½ by 1 ¾.

For the Inside piece card stock was cut at 4 x 1 and the scored on one side at 3/8 and then the other side scored at 3 1/16.
The 3 3/8 x 2 3/8 scored at 1 3/16 piece will be the piece that your silver piece gets taped onto the top flap and then the bottom flap gets taped onto the 2 x 5 ¾ piece in the middle so the silver flap folds down as the work bench.

Pictures below on where the 4 x 1 piece is to be taped onto the side of the main card front.

This 4 x 1 scored piece will be taped onto the scored lines with the one side taped to one side of the fold as shown below.

Then tape the other side as shown below.

The below picture shows the piece taped on the card.

Below are more pictures which show this piece which holds the card together.

Ice Cream Swirl Card # 8 Feb SAS

Ice Cream Swirl Bundle 162771 and Just wanted to Say Dies 161594. I cased this card right out of the mini catalog on page 37 and what a fun easy card it is as the stamps and dies do all the work.
Paper: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Basic White, Granny Apple Green,
Ink: Memento Black
Stampin Blends: Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green
Accessories: Wanted to say dies 161594
Assemble the card as shown.
No card measurements as the whole card was cut out using the Ice Cream bundle dies. The cool part about these dies as when you cut out the cone there is a embossing die that fits right into the cone and cute and embosses it at the same time. Cool Right.
