Giggle Greetings Cheese Card

Hello my friends,

I am sorry for my long delay in posting, but on Saturday June 25th my mother Gloria (who is 88) fell and broke her hip and had to have surgery to repair it.  Thank goodness my sister Ruth was still in town as she spend the last 6 weeks with my mom being with her int the hospital, rehab center and then taking care of her 24 hours a day at my house for almost 3 weeks.   After work, I would go be with my mom and sis and then of course help my sis take care of her at my house. I am happy to report my mom is walking again and has in-home therapy.  But due to her memory issues, we had to move her out of her retirement community as she can’t live alone anymore and into a home (board and care) that cares for her 24 hours a day.  That move just happen a week ago and my mom now lives closer to my brother in Laguna Niguel, CA.   My sister and Tim left a week ago to travel back to the Midwest to make a new home for themselves in TN.   I will miss my sis but want to thank her for all she did and put out for my mom.    She did all the work, I was just there when she needed me.

Ok, so due to all this, my blog was neglected and hope to get back into the swing but have a lot of catching up to do with pictures of the cards that were made at my May SAS and the July one that just past.    So bare with me as I get caught up.  I won’t be posting who I got the idea from (sorry) nor the paper, inks etc as I don’t have time.  Need to get caught up so if you want to know what product was used for a card, please email me.

Thanks for understanding my delay in posting.. but here goes.

This card was totally cased but can’t remember where I got it from so I am sorry to the person who created it.. but what a cute card.

Paper: Daffidol Delight, White, Red, polkadot DSP,  3/4 and 1 inch punches, and circle die cut with big shot and yellow ribbon (ok said I would not list this but when I have time I can).

Have a great day and sorry again for my delay in posting on my blog.

This was a fun card to make with all the fun parts to it.  I used clear sheets for the black part and that was cool and with the stazon inks it dried fast.  A fun an easy card using the Great Sport set that is now retired.  Which is a bummer as I loved this set.

Stamp set:  Great Sport

Ink: Black

Paper:  Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, red, clear transperry sheet, white

Accessories: Bright Candy Dots, Chevron Embossing folder with the Big Shot

Happy Monday to you, enjoy your day.

Petal Parade Door Prize Box and 4 cards

Happy Friday,

I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the nice weather.

I bought this Petal Parade Card Set pdf from Jenny Moors at http://stampingmoments.blogspot.com.   But Jenny did not supply a box or bag of some kind to put the cards in so  crated my own box from a pattern I have had for a long time and have used it several times for other door prizes.  Its an easy box to put together so its a keeper.

Petal Parade Door Prize Card # 4

Hello and hope all is well with you today.

I bought this Petal Parade Card Set pdf from Jenny Moors at http://stampingmoments.blogspot.com.  Jenny sells the best pdf for a great price and I use them as door prizes at my SAS.   Its great for me as I don’t have to come up with the ideas for these card and the measurements and instructions are already done by Jenny.  She is so creative and a great stamper over in England.  The best part is she gives the measurement in inches too, so easy for the US to follow her cards.   Thanks Jenny…………

Below is card 4th out of 4 that was made using this set and the new Scallop Tag Topper Punch – as Jenny used it 4 difference ways.. so very cool.

IMG_2486

Another fun layout with lots of color.  Love it.

Keep Smiling it makes people wonder what you have been up to.
