Fall Festivale – dedicated to our beloved Judee
Hi Everyone,
This past weekend 6 Rubba Sista’s and myself put on our annual Fall Festival this past weekend. It was full of emotions, tears, joy, laughter and fun. We dedicated our Fall Fest to our beloved Judee who pasted away this past March. Judee was you know was a very creative and talented stamper and always gave so much to these events. It was hard to put it on without her but we know she would want us to continue doing what we love, so we did. We did this Fall fest in her honor and we also sold her old sets, project and cards as they were all for donation to the Life Support fund we set up for Judee. Everyone gave from their hearts and we raised a good amount to be given in the name of Judee. Judee would be happy with all her leftover supplies going to good homes. Most of her current items went to her daughter Hannah who signed up just this past year to be a demo in her mothers honor. We were also blessed that Hannah (who traveld all the way from TX) to be at our event and her dad Jeff and brother Nate also joined us so it was nice to see them all again and have them see all the love that Judee had with our stamping friends. Here are some fun people pictures from the day. Tomorrow I will show you some of the make n take tables, cards and displays

The Rubba Sista’s (holding a picture of Judee). Front: Pam, Margie, Evie, Back Row: Tina, Julia, Wanda, Gail. We missed you so much Judee..

Hannah (Judee daughter) and Pam (our newest Rubba Sista. It was so great to finally meet her. Love you Hannah and welcome to the Rubba Sista Group (your mom would be so proud).

Jeff (Judee’s husband, Hannah and Nate – so nice that they joined us for the event. Jeff did a great job calling out all the door prize names for us.

Team Judee – Jeff and Hannah brought us some beautiful shirts & hats that said Team Judee. I will treasure mine always as she was one of my best friends. Pam, Hannah, Jeff, Evie and Gail.

It was a very special day for me as I had my mom Gloria and Sister Ruth attend the event.. so nice to have them there. Will miss my sis some much when she heads home to Florida.

Door Prize – Field Flower Purse and cards
Hello, I am sad today as its the last day my sister, Tim and Shadow (their dog) will be in town as they leave tomorrow to drive back home to Florida (with a few stops on their way). Its been great having my sis visit us for 2 months and boy did we get a lot of stamping time in (our favorite thing to do together). I love my sis and will miss her very much, but know she will be back in a few months for another visit, at least I hope its a few months…heeeeee.. I am sure it will be longer. Love you sis and thanks for staying with me while Brian was out of town. So glad my hubby will be returning from his trip tomorrow. The dogs and I can’t wait to see him.

Door Prize – Field Flower Card # 3
Hello and happy Monday to you. I hope you all had a great weekend, I sure did and our Fall Festival was a huge hit and such a wonderful dedication to Judee. We miss you my friend and wish you were there with us on Saturday… you were surely missed… I will have pictures posted later on for the event…
Today’s card is another of a set of 4 cards that was made using the Field Flower set and then put into a nice cute purse. I bought this tutorial from Chet Wszelaki for her August Tutorial and well worth the cost. I love chet and her blog, as she is so creative and just love her style.

Isn’t this the best card ever.. the whole punch is.. this was a very popular door prize and who would not want this set of card.
Come back tomorrow for more fun.

Door Prize – Field Flowers Card # 2
Happy Friday to you. I am so excited because tomorrow is our Semi Annual Rubba Sista Fall Festival. But this year its special because we are dedicating it to my BFF Judee that we lost last March. Judee was the most talented SU Demo I have ever know and do miss her guidance when I need her, but its our turn to make her feel special. The event will have her cards that she made and other projects on display and then the guest will be able to purchase her old stamp sets for our donation in her name to the organ donor organization. We also will be doing one of Judee’s project as a make n take and a card will be made too. It will also be a special day as Judee’s daughter Hannah will be attending (all the way from Texas) and her husband Jeff. What a fun day to be had by all we also have 60 guests so it will be a nice tribute to Judee. It’s also a nice treat for me as my mom and sister Ruth will be there too….
This is the 2nd card made from the Field Flowers stamp set that was put into a purse for a door prize for my Sept SAS.

Look at all the details on this card.. I just love it and the guest that won this door prize were so happy.
Have a great weekend my friends, I sure will.

Door Prize – Four Tags & Paisley Petals Purse and Cards
Happy Hump Day my friends as its almost the weekend.. yippee. I am sad as my hubby left yesterday for his trip to Hong Kong/Singapore and know he arrived safely so that is good. While he is gone, my sister Ruth will be staying with me to help take care of my babies.. no not kids.. but my dogs, as they can be a handful at times. It also gives my sis and I time together. Thanks sis for taking the time out of your busy schedule (retired schedule) and staying with me, really do appreciate it.
Finally onto the purse that holds the 4 cards I showed you earlier. This was such a great door prize that everyone loved it. Again, I bought the tutorial from Tammy White.

Picture of the front of the purse – so pretty

Another lucky winner was Laura

Of course the luckiest winner was my sister Ruth with this great pose. I guess Kendra taught her well… heeeeeeeee

Welcome back,
Today’s post is the 4th card made using the Four Tags and Paisley Petals designer paper.
