Four Frames Card # 2

Hello there and welcome back to my blog.

Today’s card is another card I made using the Four Frames Stamp set and Paisley Petals DSP, both items are sneak peak stamp set and paper that will be in the new 2011-2012 Catalog coming out July 1st.   So only a few short months away.. yippee.

I cased this card from a card made by Dawn at http://dostamping.typepad.com.  I was not feeling creative and loved this card when I saw it so had to CASE it.  My card is slightly different due to using a different embossing folder for the background on the card and such, but still I love the bright colors on this card.   Can you believe the main card is Tangerine Tango, looks so much brighter on the camera picture then it does in real life.

Enjoy my friends and come back tomorrow to see another card made with this set.

Four Frames Card # 1

Hello my friends and welcome back,

Ok, so I finally got the chance to stamp after work yesterday and made 4 cards using the Four Frames set (that will be in the new 2011-2012 Catalog along with the Designer Series paper called Paisley Petals.   Love using these two together and the promotion to pre-order the set and paper is only good until April 30th, so hurry if you want to pre-order.

This is the first card I came up with using Bravo Burgundy, Marina Mist and Paisley Petals DSP.  Love this color combo as its so rich looking.  My mom saw these cards before anyone and loved them, so she will be my judge from now on…heee.  Thanks Mom, love you

Have a good day my friends and come back tomorrow for another card made with the Four Frames and Paisley Designer Paper.

Mothers Day Card by Judee Pepper

Hello my friends and hope you all had a good weekend.  My mother turned 85 on Saturday night and we had a big party for her at Harpoon Henry’s in Dana Point where my brother performs.   She had a great time and was even surprised when my oldest brother from Chicago flew in to surprise her on her special day. I will have pictures of the event soon.   Love you mom and glad you had a good birthday weekend.

Attached is another beautiful card my dear friend Judee Pepper made a while ago.  I love the way Judee used colors and combos as she was such a talented stamper.   I am so glad I kept this card as it will stay with me forever and remind me of Judee.

Have a good day my friends.

Table Setting by Judee Pepper

Happy Friday,

I really miss my BFF Judee who passed away a month ago and wanted to display a table setting she made for her table.  Is this not the prettiest napkin holder ring ever made.  Judee was the most talented stamper I knew and always made the most wonderful projects and cards.    We all loved this Table setting that she made for our Fall Festival we held last October.    I really miss her talent and her teaching me things,  as I would also ask, Jude how did they do this, of course she always found out the answer for me if she did not know herself, which was not often.. as Judee knew  a lot.  I love you my friend and miss you every day.

Have a nice weekend my friends.

Bold Blossom Blush and Concord Grape Card

Happy Friday my friends.  I am very excited because tonight and tomorrow the girls will be coming over to make the March Birthday SAS cards (that was rescheduled).  I can’t wait to see all my stamping friends and give them all hugs.  Judee will certainly be misses at this event as she loved coming to my SAS so it may be a little hard at first on all of us, but know she would want us to stamp on, so that is what we are going to do.

Today’s card is a card I CASED from Chet’s April Card Tutorial under her blog at http://memystampsandi.blogspot.com/. I loved it so much, I made a few of these cards for my friends. This card is made from the Bold Blossom stamp set that was in the Occassional Mini but has also been carried over into the new Spring Mini Catalog that will be available as of May 1st.   I love Chet’s Tutorial as they are a bargin at $10.00 for a 3 month subscription.

Isn’t this the cutest card ever.. I just love it and hope my friends that received it will too.

Have a good day my friends and think of us stamping all night tonight and tomorrow… with happy smiles on our faces as we get the stamp together again.

Sweet Summer – Twisted Easel Card

Welcome back my friends,

I loved the color combo of the Sweet Summer Easel fold card I showed you a few days ago and decided to make it into my own version of the Twisted Easel card.  There are a few different dimensions out on blog on how to measure for this card and since I could not get the card right (from other PDF’s I bought) I decided to create my own version.

I know this picture looks funny, but this is how the card looks closed.  This is how it would pull out of an envelope.

This is a picture of the side view of the card when opened.

Front of the card open.  If you will notice the Thinking of you word tags is what is holding the card open.

The dimensions for my card were as follows:

Card base measures 8 3/4 x 4 1/4 – Certainly Celery, then score at 4 3/8 to have the card fold in half.   Then score the top part of the card diagonally from the top right down to the bottom left.  You may have to cut off your edges once down as it may not be a perfect fold.

Stamped white piece – 3 x 3 1/2

Celery for laying the white piece 3 1/4 x 3 3/4

Polka dot Designer paper – 4 x 4

Striped Designer paper 4 1/4 x 1 1/2

White for scallop piece – 4 1/4 x 1

Very easy card once you got the dimensions down.

What a fun card and one I can call me own.. finally right.. heee.

Have a good day my friends.

Pam
