Pansy Patch Flower Card

I created this card using the Pansy Patch Bundle (155674) and cut the white flower pieces and then took the stampin Dauber and Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and brushed it around the flowers and leaves. The dark leaves were cut out using Evening Evergreen paper. Then look a spritzer and sprayed the flowers so the ink would spread over the flowers. It was such a cool technique and let them dry a bit. Loved how they turned out. Card base is Pale Papaya (155668). I used the Scallop Contours dies (155560) to cut out the white Scallop piece. In Color Jewels (155571) Pale Papaya for accents for the card. I embossed the card and white piece with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder (152718). The 2 center parts of the flower used Black Berry Bliss and Pale Papaya cut out with their dies.

Happy Father’s Day Card made from the Hats Off Bundle

I got the idea for these cards from Tami White in which she showed a video on how to make these cute baseball cards using the Hat off die (155483 on page 47 of the new catalog). That is the only thing from the die. The base was made up and the bats is from the Paper Pumpkin set called Batter Up (I stamped the bat on the back of the DSP and cut it out) I knew that I need to make mine a Chicago Cub Card and White Sox card for my two brothers for Fathers day. Since we grew up in Chicago my oldest brother ford grew up on the South Side of Chicago In Beverly until he was 15 (so he grew up a Sox Fan) then we move to Glenview (a northern Suburb of Chicago) when I was 4 and my other brother Craig who was 12 when we moved great grew up on both sides of Chicago but became more of a Cubby fan since we were on the Northside when he was a teen. So I made both of these versions for my greatest brothers that I love so much and both have great kids. I thought they would enjoy these special hats just for them.
