Botanical Builder – Jan SAs Card # 7
Hello and Happy Friday to you all. I hope you have a great weekend planed with family and fun. I will be alone this weekend as my husband left yesterday for a gun shooting competition in AZ. He goes every year with a bunch of his shooting buddies and has a blast. He does well at the event also. Its 3 full days of shooting. They leave on Thursday so they can get there early and check out the range and walk the gun stages. They used to come on Sunday night after the long 3 day match but decided now to stay on Sunday and come back on Monday after shopping at Cabela’s in AZ. My only request is he pick me up something fun from there as I love their stuff. So I am alone this weekend with my dogs but that is ok, I have lots of stamping and getting ready things to do for my next Stamp-a-stack which is March 18th and 20th and its all birthday cards. One of my other most popular SAS.
Below is the7th of 10 cards made at my January SAS held Jan 29th and 30th using stamps, paper, and accessories from the new Occasions catalog that came out on Jan 5th.
This card was made using the Botanical Builder Framlit die on page 27 of the Occasions Catalog. I got the idea for this card from www.stampinbythesea.com. She has a great site with lots of great cards. I love her blog. I changed my version of the card a bit by adding the pear paper as the main card and using the lines die for my texture.
Paper used: Pear, Smokly Slate, Vellum and Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper on page 27 of the Occasions catty. The flowers were cut using the Botanical Builder die and a reinstone in the middle of the flower. Such a great die cut and easy card to put together.

Fun, fun card, I love it.
Enjoy your weekend and have some fun.

What I love – Jan SAS Card # 6
Hello and welcome back.
Hope your day is going well so far.
Below is the 6th of 10 cards made at my January SAS held Jan 29th and 30th using stamps, paper, and accessories from the new Occasions catalog that came out on Jan 5th.
This card was made with the What I love Stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog on page 7. This card was a case from Amy K at www.amysinklings.com. She has a great blog with super cute ideas. I have more cards that we will make from her brilliant collection.
I loved this stamp set and the layer it does with 3 sets. I used Watermelon wonder for my ink and stamp the flowers with the biggest to the smallest and what a pretty card this was. This card also used the ew Watermelon Wonder 1′ Stitched Satin Ribbon on page 31 of the Occasions catty and the cute Botanical Gardens Jewel on page 27 of the Occasions catty.

Love this card and what a great thank you card.
Have a day my friends.

Honeycomb Happiness – Jan SAs Card # 5
Hello my friends and welcome back.
Below is the 5th of 10 cards made at my January SAS held Jan 29th and 30th using stamps, paper, and accessories from the new Occasions catalog that came out on Jan 5th.
Isn’t this card cute… I got the idea from the SAB catalog from a sample card on the front of the catty, I just changed it a bit to add DSP paper to my card. This card using the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set from the SAB catalog on page 15.
This card also used the new Honeycomb Embellishments located on page 9 of the Occasions catalog. The paper used for this card was Mint, white and DSP from the It’s my party Designer Series paper on page 5 of the Occasions catalog. The Honeycomb embellishment is so fun, but I have to say I am disappointed that they are only 12 of these in one page and only 3 of 4 colors. Not an economical item to buy for your SAS when you have a big group. So what I did is used the Blush or Mint Honeycomb on either card, so sample of both below.

Super fun card and one to give away to a very special person.
Have a great day.

In the Meadow Jan SAS Card # 4
Hello there and welcome back.
Anything fun happen today? If so, do share….
Below is the 4th of 10 cards made at my January SAS held Jan 29th and 30th using stamps, paper, and accessories from the new Occasions catalog that came out on Jan 5th.
Again, I got the idea for this card from Linda Heller at www.stampinschool.com. As I am a member of her stamping school and can use your cards at my events. She made her card a panel card but I just took the same idea and made it a window card. I wanted another guy card at my event and this filled the bill. The dear are so cute out the window.
This card uses the stamp set In the Meadow located on page 28 of the Occasions Catalog. It also used the Window Framlit die. Paper used was Mossy Meadow, black, and white.
Such a fun card and easy to do.

Enjoy your day.

Bloomin Love – January SAS Card # 3
Hello there and welcome back.
I hope you all had a great weekend and did something fun.
Below is the 3rd of 10 cards made at my January SAS held Jan 29th and 30th using stamps, paper, and accessories from the new Occasions catalog that came out on Jan 5th.
This card was a sample card in Stampin Up’s Stamping Magazine us demo’s get. Its filled with lots of samples and ideas and even business tips. I loved this card and wanted to make it was this Bloomin Love stamp set and thinlet die are so popular. Yes I should have made a Valentines card with it but not sure how many of my stampers sent out Valentine cards, so I made it a friend card instead (just like SU did). This way it can be used to give to anyone at any time of the year. I did change my card a bit from how SU made it as I stamped the flowers in mint on the edges of the front of the card, just thought the card needed something extra.
This card was made using the Blooming Love Stamp Set and Bloomin Heart Thinlits die on page 16 and 17 of the Occasions catty. Paper used was Mint Macaroon, Watermelon Wonder, and White. The heart was punch out using the Bloomin Heart Thinlit die, so easy to create and what a beautiful result. Again the girls used the Big Shot Die brush to rub all the pieces off and it was easy peasy.

Have a wonderful day.

I wanted to make a guy cards as I always have to have at least one guy card at my SAS and this was the one we made. Paper used was Mossy Meadow, Curry, and White. Ribbon was Vanilla Thick Twine and Mossy Meadow Ribbon,

What a great guy card especially if your guy is a fisherman… mine is not but he would still like this card.

Party with Cake & Party pop-up Thinlet – Jan SAS Card # 1
Hello my friends,
Hope all is well with you all.
The next 10 days, I will be showing you the 10 cards the girls made at my 1st SAS of the year I had on January 29th and 30th and the SAS was focused on new stamp sets, paper, accessories from the Occasions Catalog that came out on January 5th. This SAS was a hit and lots of ladies showed up for all the fun. It was great to be back stamping with the ladies and seeing them all again.
This is the 1st of 10 cards made at the Occasions SAS.
I loved this card and cased it from Linda Heller at www.stampingschool.com. I am one of her members at her stamping school and created this card and did a great video on how to make it from start to finish. I believe her video is Utube so check it out under Linda Heller of you want to know how to make this card. Really fun card to do and easy.
This card using the Party-Pop Up Thinlet die on page 7 of the Occasions Catalog, along with the stamp set called Party with Cake. The paper used was Curry, Mellow Mambo, White, and fun DSP from the new super Designer Series pack called Its my Party (on page 5 of the Occassions catty). You get so many great paper designs for birthday or celebrations, so fun.

Do you see the cut Pop-up isn’t this great. Its so fun and easy to make this card.

A close up of the Pop-out part.

Close up of the saying used.
What a great card and the girls got to learn how to use the new die, and new Big Shot Die brush that SU just brought out.
Have a great day my friends and come back for more fun tomorrow.

Chrismtas SAS Make n Take Christmas Gift tag
Hello my friends,
Below is the make n take project the girls made at the Christmas SAS. I cased this tag from Erica Cerwin at pinkbuckaroo.com.

Make n take table

Big Shot Table in Kitchen with 2 dies cut machines for two different Christmas Cards.

The whole table layed out.

Big Shot for Card # 5

Big Shot Table in Garage. Thanks to my neighbor Tina and my buddy Mo for lending me their Big Shots for this event.

Girls at the Big shot table in the kitchen on Saturday

Robin and Ruth at the big shot table in the garage on Saturday

Glitter Station in Garage for one card

Embossing Station in Garage

Table set up in the garage that seats 10 people. This room has 4 cards and is the busiest room. But the garage has more room so its not a bag place to hang in.

Table set up in the dining room.

Table set up in the living room.
As you can see my SAS take over the whole house. Good thing my husband supports me and doesn’t mind the mess. It takes me at least 3-4 days to set up each table, but the clean up is quick. She just put all the stuff into boxes for each table and the clean up is easy. Between my sis and I, it takes us about an hour or so. I do have help from stampers who help clean up some of the tables for me and help put stamp sets away for me, etc. I really appreciate that especially late on a Saturday afternoon when we are beat from two days of stamping. But its all good and would not trade this part time job for me. Love it and the friends I have made thru it.
Have a great day.

Ruth’s Christmas Extra Door Prizes Gifts For Christmas SAS
Hello my friends,
You all know how much my sister does for me for my SAS as she makes all the door prize cards for me, without here my events would not have door prizes. When my sister is in town and here for my SAS she always makes special gifts for the girls as an extra special door prizes. You saw pictures of all the girls holding their prizes below is a close up of them all,
The Poinsettia wreath below was a beauitful wreath my sister made but not as Door Prize. I wanted to display this so the girls to see the wonderful work my sister does and what you can do with the Poinsettia stamp set and punch.

Below are boxes my sister made as extra door prizes. The penquin box was my favorite and so cute. They were all good.

These boxes were made with clear paper and had a flameless candle inside, I could not get a picture of it, sorry.
Below are pictures of a really cool Christmas tree made out of paper. Isn’t she talented. This is the coolest tree and so well done. My sister is so talented.

Have a great day.
Pam
